  1. What's different about your method?

    Our method of teaching Greek has proven effective for over fifty years in homes and in classrooms worldwide. While some companies use the same teaching approach for all languages ours is written specifically to Greek. This easy method uses the basic building blocks of the language as students progress equally and methodically in reading, writing, speaking, and grammar. The mixed use of readers, workbooks, CDs, DVDs, and interactive computer products enhance and accelerate learning.

  2. How do I begin to learn Greek?

    The simple Curriculum Guide is designed to give students of all ages an overview of our products and help them determine where  to begin to learn Greek. It will  guide you through our three products lines and direct you to additional support products.

  3. How can I review your materials before I purchase?

    Our current line of readers, workbooks, and auxiliary books can be viewed in detail by using the Google preview feature. You will find it under the image of each current title and it allows you to view the table of contents and a large portion of the book.

  4. What should I know if I want to learn Greek at home?

    For those students who are unable attend class or prefer to learn Greek at home at their own pace we have the method and materials to get you through the process. The Curriculum Guide will direct you.

  5. What should I know if my child is learning Greek?

    Whether your child is learning at home or enrolled in Greek school we offer a full range of materials  to help them succeed. To start your child at home review the Preschool-Kindergarten level for children ages 3-6, and Level One for ages 6 and above. With your guidance, involvement and encouragement they will be on their way to learning Greek. If your child is enrolled in Greek school and they are using our readers and workbooks use the Curriculum Guide to view support materials.   6. How can I get your products outside of the United States?

    Our entire product line is available worldwide. Our goal is to deliver the best Greek language learning materials to individuals and schools worldwide at affordable prices. We will be glad to help you in any way possible.

     

  7. What is your shipping policy to Canada?

     

    Our entire product line is available in Canada. Many Canadian Greek schools, teachers, universities, bookstores, and students in self-study and classrooms currently use our materials.

    We understand that shipments to Canada can be costly. To reduce the expense to our customers we share in the shipping costs based on the retail amount of the order. In most cases we ship via UPS.  Shipments usually take from 3-12 business days but times may vary. Below you will find the flat rates based on the retail amount of your order. All costs are in $USD.

  8. What is your overseas shipping policy?

    We understand that oversea shipments can be costly. To reduce the expense to our customers we share in the shipping costs based on the retail amount of the order. We ship via United States Post Service (USPS). Shipments usually take from 6-18 business days but times may vary. Below you will find the international flat rates based on the retail amount of your order. All costs are in $USD.

  9. What is the Resource Center?

    The Resource Center gives our customers useful information and PDFs of tests and answers available free for downloading. This information includes our Curriculum Guide that directs you through our product lines based on age, fluency level, and desired pace. We continue to work with professional Greek language educators to expand these resources and invite you to use them as you like,

  10. How can I find your past editions?

    Many of our past editions are available for purchase. If you want to review past editions click here. Please note that all of our past editions are in black and white and limited to existing stock.

  11. Do you offer DVDs?

    Currently we have two DVD’s in our product line. “Greek Songs for Children” is our newest DVD and appropriate for children in levels Preschool-K to Six. For adults we have the Modern Greek Dialogue DVD and can be found in our Advanced One level.

  12. Do you offer computer products?

  13. Do you offer apps?

    We currently offer two apps for iPhone and one for iPad. For iPhone we have the Greek Alphabet App and Flash Cards with 100 Words. For iPad we offer the Flash Cards with 100 Greek Words. All apps were developed by our friend and partner David DelMonte.

  14. Do you offer eBooks?

    This year, led by our developer and partner David DelMonte, we have begun the process of converting our books to electronic format. David’s passion for his work and the Greek language is the perfect combination and we are happy to have him as a part of our team. We look forward to announcing our first eBook in the fall of 2011. In the meantime we are proud to announce that David has written both an Alphabet and Flash Card application which are available for purchase for iPhone and iPad.

  15. What is the Partnership Program?

    We promote the preservation of our Greek heritage and culture and believe that teaching the Greek language is a critical part of that effort. The goal of our Partnership Program is to establish working and lasting relationships with like minded organizations. Our partnerships are intended to jointly promote these goals and support organizations in their efforts to achieve their mission.

  16. Do you offer employment opportunities?

    Wanted creators: At Greek123, creativity and innovation keep our educational materials constantly changing and improving. Our mission is to preserve and promote the Greek language and we welcome all opportunities to work with other creative minds in reaching this goal.

This allows your buyer to review our full curriculum at no cost to you. We will include our Curriculum Guide and detail, a return shipping label and ask that you return them within 30 days of receipt. Please contact us directly to request samples.

  2. How do we register our Greek School for discount pricing and free samples?

    Greek Schools now have a special log in access to the Greek123 website. Simply register and your school will receive access to discounted school pricing, our catalog,order forms, our Resource Center and samples requests for new products.     The Advanced Level One and Advanced Level Two provide learning solutions for high schools, colleges, language labs, and universities worldwide. Highly regarded by foreign language specialists the Advanced Level is built on our classic hardback textbook Modern Greek Eighth Edition. In addition 333 Modern Greek Verbs is the ideal reference book for both levels.
