Papaloizos Publications was proud to be a sponsor of the 89th Annual AHEPA Supreme Convention that was held in Miami Beach, Florida in July 2011. For 89 years AHEPA has been at the forefront of critical issues facing Greek-Americans. It’s telling to me that the founders of AHEPA chose to include the words Hellenic Education in their name. For those two words to become a part of the AHEPA name I can only assume the founders understood how important education would be to Greeks if they were to succeed in America.

American, Hellenic, Educational, Progressive are all words the passion that our company shares with AHEPA. That is why we are so pleased to be a partner with AHEPA in the fight to preserve our Greek language. We look forward to working hard with AHEPA, this year and in the years to come, to keep our language alive.

During the convention, we were also thankful to hold a discussion on The Greek Language in the 21st Century. There we discussed the danger of losing our beloved Greek language and as a result an important part of our culture and heritage.
